Critical Interruption of Treatment

Corrective Actions: The alarm for the UV was activated (beeping) at time of inspection and a valve on a line that bypasses the solenoid valve was open. The bypass line must removed to prevent untreated water from entering the system when the solenoid valve closes; until the cause of the alarm is identified and repaired all users must be advised to boil their water prior to use.

Non-Critical Inadequate Chemical Analysis Data

Corrective Actions: As a requirement of the Operating Permit terms and conditions, a chemical analysis of the source water is required once every 5 years. This was last done in 2011, ensure this is completed in 2019.
